"Northern Sound Contracting and Roger Ihde delivered what they promised. Roger worked with us and produced a proposal which could be implemented in stages. The work was completed as promised and on time for up coming graduation and awards ceremonies. We have had few problems, and those which surfaced were quickly resolved.
Our system has made our athletic events more pleasurable for the athletes and the fans. We can hear and understand what is being said.
Music can be played and enjoyed, without driving spectators from the gymnasium.
We hosted a taxpayer's forum with various government officials this year. A large crowd was in attendance. The entire event went off
without a hitch. Those speaking could be heard and understood without the high volume levels of the old system. The clarity of the system
allow each audience member to feel as though they were on the stage listening. The same experience occurred during the school play. For
the first time the audience could hear clearly as our amateur thespians spoke their lines." |

"This past year Northern Sound installed a complete sound system in our school. Our old system went back some forty years and hardly addressed our current needs. Northern Sound designed and installed a system which has met our present and future needs. Our kids and the community are very pleased and excited about this wonderful improvement in our facility."

NSC PROJECTION SYSTEM PROVIDES GREAT VERSATILITY
FOR CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH
"The projector system from Northern Sound is great! We're using it for more
than we imagined. The Funeral Home is providing cd's of pictures, and we
play them on the system before the funeral, and it is received quite well.
We'll be able to do things with the children's program as well. One of the
biggest surprises is that the congregation sings at least twice as loud,
since they're looking up. I put a special graphic up during choir pieces.
We take care of most of our announcements without saying a word. We use it
for our entire liturgy and all of our hymns, and the nice thing is we can make
last minute changes. We eventually will be going to a weekly newsletter
that will be handed out, rather than a bulletin, and saving money in the
process. We use it for our Bible studies, and for special events, like the
senior pastor's convention report. Most of these uses, or the way it has
taken shape, has been an unexpected, but pleasant surprise.. The projectionists also
really enjoy being able to serve the Lord using talents that were previously overlooked.
My wife even likes doing the projecting! Thanks for your help in installing the system."

"The projection system that NSC installed in our worship space, has enhanced our congregation’s worship experience in many ways. Most importantly, it has improved our ability to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving us a tool to communicate in the visual language that is prevalent in our culture. It's much more than a 14-foot bulletin on the front wall of our worship space; it is the 21st century equivalent of the stained glass windows of centuries ago, telling the biblical story in a way that is readily understood by worshippers today."

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Adds Video Impact To Its Worship Services In Kiel, Wisconsin |
"The video projection system we recently purchased through NSC has added several new dimensions to our congregational life. We benefit from being able to share video tape/DVD presentations with the whole congregation as part of our service or during announcements. We also use it on occasion to project the image of the speaker, especially when the church is full, so that everyone has a clear view. We have plans to project announcements, visuals for sermons and other service elements and possibly music. The equipment and its use has been very well received by a fairly traditional congregation."

"When living in the 21st Century we need to relate to the people who use technology all day and in their own homes. Our denomination produces a superb video magazine and to show this in church informs, encourages, and aids the sermon presentation. No longer is the video projector a modern version of the over head projector or used only for hymns. When we visit people's homes do we see books on the shelf or DVDs and videos?"

"Thank God for Northern Sound Contracting! The comprehensive
audio-visual system they installed in our new church building has been
a wonderful ministry tool as we seek to serve our community in Christ's
name. NSC understands in a culture that demands excellence, the church
cannot afford to settle for less . . . people are just too important! "

Hi, Rodger,
Thank you so much for providing training in the sound booth and related technology to our volunteers at First Baptist of Sister Bay. Your tutorial was much appreciated. We now have people who can sit with Paul Hagen in the booth and begin to learn the system for church services. Your training is very clear; even I could understand many of the concepts so I know that those with technical gifts learned so much.
Thank you for your support and help. Our worship service, radio broadcast, and CD ministry are better because you shared your expertise.
Sincerely,
Diane
